We combine remote work and gig jobs with pet sitting, traveling to provide care wherever it’s needed. Being nomadic allows us to offer flexible, attentive service—whether locally or out-of-state—while maintaining our work and travel lifestyle.

We provide Local Overnight Care for short getaways and Extended Pet & House Sitting for stays of weeks or months. Services include daily pet care, home security, and optional additional tasks like plant care, errands, or vet/groomer transportation.

Base rate is $100/day + a transportation fee. Additional services are priced separately. A mandatory meet-and-greet is required ($30), and a 50% deposit is needed to secure your sit dates.

Ideal for longer stays or mutually beneficial arrangements. Most bookings via TrustedHousesitters follow their payment policies, but we are also happy to work directly with clients. We can travel outside Arizona for extended stays when needed.

Local Overnight Care is perfect for short getaways—think a weekend or a few days. We stay overnight, handle meals, cuddles, walks, and basic home care.

Extended Pet & House Sitting covers longer stays, from weeks to months. These arrangements often involve more detailed routines, additional errands, or property tasks, and are ideal for flexible, mutually beneficial arrangements for both pets and owners.

We typically plan 3–6 months ahead, and sometimes even up to a year, because we schedule our remote work, gigs, and travel around sits. Early planning ensures we can give your pets our full attention and coordinate our nomadic lifestyle efficiently.

For direct bookings:

• More than 30 days before the sit: full deposit refund

• 15–30 days: 50% deposit retained

• Less than 15 days: deposit non-refundable

We require up-to-date vet information and a signed consent allowing Anela Tayan & Jared Leckey to take your pet to your designated vet in an emergency if you are unavailable or unreachable.

Clients must provide accurate information about their pets’ health, behavior, and vaccination status. Ark + Whisk is not liable for pre-existing conditions, accidents, or issues beyond our control.

Yes! We can handle additional tasks such as plant watering, pet supply runs, vet or groomer transport, and general property management. These services are priced separately and agreed upon before the sit begins.
